Did you see the roll call vote? Watch CSpan much? Anyway, when it got to Minnesota we were easily the noisiest delegation and got the attention of the cameras for a while. I'm told I was on tv as were most everybotdy else in our delegation.
The high emotional point of the day yesterday for me was how the roll call ended. Illinois passed when it was its turn. When we finally got to New Mexico, they yielded to Illinois. Mayor Daley then took the mike for IL and yielded to New York. Then the cameras and lights shone on the New York delegation and seemingly out of nowhere Hillary Clinton was before the mike, asking for a suspension of the rules to end the roll call and cast a unanimous ballot for Barack Obama. It was perfect theater and actually brought my first teary eyed moment. Really amazing.
