Just had a nice lunch here at the hotel sponsored by Senator Mark Dayton. Now intending to grab the 2:00 DNC shuttle to the Pepsi Center in order to be there at gavel. We have been told that all Delegates must be in there seats by 3:15 so that we can have the vote. That means in under two hours I will get to cast a ballot to officially endorse the first African American on a major party ticket for president. Wow.

Regarding the transit thing. Our hotel is pretty far from downtown Denver. It hasn't been that big of a problem, though. I bought a 5-day Denver transit pass and have only had to use it once because they have such a great system of shuttles from our hotel to the convention.
