A question I frequently heard from friends/family before coming here was, "will you be on tv?"
The most likely answer is, "no." That said, short of doing something stupid and/or illegal (i.e.: streaking across the stage), how can the average occupant of the Pepsi Center and Mile High Stadium can get on tv. And by the way, I know it's not called Mile High anymore and it's a different stadium, but to me the Denver Broncos will always play in Mile High.
There are three obvious strategies:
1. Be the delegate with the outrageous hat. There are always a few.
2. Be the person who holds the Minnesota sign, which inevitably gets shown a few times through the convention, but esp on Wedesday when they do the roll call vote. Helps if you wear a bright shirt, too.
3. Stand obnoxiously close to Sen. Klobuchar and Mayor Rybak when they announce Minneota's vote totals during the roll call vote.
Any other ideas?
